Megan Striedel’s two-goal performance led the Red Mountain girls soccer team to a 3-1 home victory Saturday over Glendale Mountain Ridge. Jessica Sobczak also scored for the Mountain Lions (12-6).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Anne Munsil’s two free throws with two-tenths of a second left lifted Scottsdale Christian over host Northwest Christian, 27-25. Munsil scored a game-high 18 points and had 11 rebounds and three steals as the Eagles improved to 9-12, 3-3 in the 2A Central Region.
